A thoroughly enjoyable evening of great food served by our BTEC Hospitality pupils and fantastic music from our very own Big Band and pupil vocalists. Parents and Old Brutonians danced the night away. Watch a video of the evening and view the photographs below.
On Saturday, the Big Band performed at their biggest event of the year, Swing into Spring. It was a huge success, with the pupils finding an extra gear and performing with enthusiasm, accuracy, and dynamism. From Stevie Wonder and A-Ha to Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie, the programme was varied and full of fantastic music for the guests to enjoy. Above all, the pupils had a huge amount of fun, and this is a credit to the months of hard work and commitment they have all shown. Well done also to our vocal soloists, and my thanks go to the peripatetic staff who helped pupils in their preparation for the performance.
