Welcome to Lyon House, one of the six boarding houses at King's. We have the unique position of being located alongside the major playing fields of the School and therefore we proudly boast of having the largest back garden!
There is a great sense of belonging and ownership in Lyon House: it is special place because of the young men who live in it. They look after each other, and encourage each other to do their best. We have outstanding individuals who inspire others, display modesty, and value everyone as much for their effort and personality, as for their individual attainment. Do come and meet us, we would love to show you round!
The House accommodates boarders and day boys. The boys in the lower years share rooms in 2s, 3s and 4s and as they enter the Sixth Form, nearly all the boys have their own single room. We pride ourselves in everything we do, from debating, to sporting events and house singing.
We are a strong community who pull together, no matter what the challenge.
