At King’s we offer an inclusive, dynamic and varied range of Activities to stretch, engage and challenge our pupils outside formal academic time.
Every week, over 70 extra-curricular activities are on offer to pupils. The majority take place between 4.30 to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. There is plenty for everyone: from Astronomy to Zumba; Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award to Barbershop Singing; Fashion Design to Volleyball; Editing the School Magazine to Horse Riding and Silversmithing.
We launch new activities every term based on pupils’ feedback and pupils select their preferences at a convention at the start of each term.
The extra-curricular programme is a strength of the school, catering for interests as diverse as yoga and the Combined Cadet Force, as well as an extensive range of musical activities. All pupils take part in activities and questionnaire responses indicate that this programme is very highly valued by pupils and parents alike.
