Smiles and swampy conditions at the Marden Trophy Cross Country

On a rare February blue sky day, we hosted this year’s Marden Trophy. The swampy conditions underfoot from the previous week’s downfall made for some heavy-legged runs, however, the inter boys’ event was well competed with strong finishes from Dash B and Riley M, with Gabriel  B S doing well to hobble round on a crocked knee. The senior boys performed admirably without captain, Sam H, with Hector M running particularly well. Matilda G was the strongest King’s performer of the day, finishing second in the Senior Girls’ event. Well done all for a successful event.
