Week 1 Sport Roundup...

Congratulations to the Senior Girls’ cross-country team who won their race at the Milton Abbey meet. Well done also to Samuel for finishing second in his race.

The netballers also got off to an excellent start to their season as they had a clean sweep of victories versus Downside. A special mention to Emily, Lily, Ella and Minnie who all played very well in their respective teams.

The boys’ hockey teams started strongly as there were five victories versus Prior Park with wins coming for the 1st XI, 3rd XI, U15A, U15B and U14B teams. Players of the match were Mats, JJ, Will, Harry, Griff, Gabe and Luke. Very well done also to the U15As for beating Blundell’s 3-2 in the ISHC after a controlled performance.

On Sunday, King’s hosted a Rugby 7s Tournament which was a huge success, both in terms of the promise showed by the King’s team but also due to the number of competitive games played over the tournament. The King’s team remained victorious throughout and can look forward to an exciting season of 7s after a great start.
