On a cold week of sport, it was brilliant to see matches going on both midweek and on Saturday afternoon. The 1^st XV had a great week with an impressive 10-7 victory versus Prior Park followed by an entertaining 26-26 draw with Downside on Saturday. The 2^nd XI also played out a thrilling draw on Thursday afternoon vs Prior Park. In freezing conditions on Saturday, it was good to see so many competitive matches with a special mention to the 3^rd Form boys, who showed great sportsmanship to also play for Prior Park, which was highly praised by the Prior Head of Rugby. There were several outstanding performances but special mention to Ronnie, Sid, Iolo, Harry and Griff.

On the hockey side of things, it was great to have all of the senior matches versus Clayesmore going ahead. There were comprehensive 5-0 victories for both the 1^st XI and 3^rd XI teams with Lily, Annabel and Sophia being named players of the match respectively. The 2^nd XI played out a 2-2 draw courtesy of two goals from Skyla whilst the 4^th XI secured a 1-0 victory with Cara being named player of the match. Congratulations to the 1^st XI for remaining unbeaten on their Saturday fixtures.

Whilst the badminton team lost to Sherborne there were some excellent performances from both Harry and Sebastian, with Moritz being named player of the match. Finally, the footballers ended the week on a high following the U16s 2-0 cup loss to the Westfield Academy on Thursday, with a 1-0 victory against a good Millfield team on Saturday afternoon. Tommy was excellent in midfield as he was named player of the match, but a special mention to Otto for his high-quality performance and winning goal, as well as Joe for leading by example and marshalling the team so impressively.
