An exciting end of term Inter-House Swimming Gala with 60 swimmers from across all 6 Houses, competing to be the best. There was a minimum of 4 junior pupils and 4 senior pupils from each House in individual races and relays. There were so many close races, we actually needed electronic timing for one race as it was so close for a photo finish that it was impossible to separate. This went on until the last race. Priory were in the lead for the Girls' Houses but Arion needed to win the final relay to level and win if Priory were 3rd. It was tense but Priory held second position so the score was 66 points each! In the boys' races, the scores do not show how close some of the races were, with Sam and William fighting it out more than once.
The event was another success on the King’s sporting calendar. There were also 3 relay and 6 individual school records broken. Individual records went to William for the 25m Junior Fly, Issie for the 25m Junior Fly and the 100m Junior Individual Medley, Harry for the 50m Junior Backstroke, Eleanor for the 50m Junior Backstroke and Rory for the 50m Senior Backstroke.
