Sixth Form Careers

As part of the ever-growing range of opportunities for pupils to encounter universities, King’s welcomed 7 global universities to the 6th Form Centre on Monday morning.

Representatives from  Bishop’s (Canada), IE (Spain), Indiana (USA), Johnson & Wales (USA), Salve Regina (USA), Savannah College of Art and Design (USA/Hong Kong) and Suffolk (Spain/USA), accompanied by international universities expert, David Hawkins, held information stands for 5th and 6th Form pupils. With this wealth of knowledge on both their own universities and the wider education systems in their countries, they were able to inform and inspire the ambitious pupils that attended.

With over 10% of university destinations for King’s pupils being overseas, this is an important part of our support in our pupils applications and decision making. It is central to our 6th Form ethos that pupils are made aware of the diverse range of options available to them, be that in the UK or overseas, to be students, apprentices or employees, so that each individual can find the best fit for them where they will excel in the future.
