A grand finale at our Leavers' Concert...
The Leavers’ Concert was a lovely evening but, as always, joy and happiness are tinged with a little sadness as we prepare to bid farewell to the young musicians with whom we’ve had the privilege of working with for last few years.
It was an impressive programme that included music theatre, rock, folk and everything between! It was also lovely to include a trio with Florence, Jenna and Lily singing A Soft Place to Land from the musical Waitress.
All the pupils have grown in confidence since most of them performed in the New Musicians’ Concert back in September 2019, and it is incredible to think what they have achieved since then. They have all supported numerous ensembles at King’s over the years and they have all developed into wonderful musicians.
As always this was an evening to celebrate all the successes of the past few years, we will miss them hugely and wish them every success and happiness for the future in their continued music making. Our congratulations go to them all on a super evening.
