A super Hazlegrove and King's Bruton Joint Concert...
Friday evening saw the Hazlegrove and King’s Joint Concert take place in the Hauser & Wirth Recital Hall. It was the second occasion during the academic year where we can showcase the quality and diversity of music across the Foundation.
The concert featured joint performances from the Orchestra, Military Band and Choirs. A particular highlight was hearing the massed choirs and orchestras performing Handel's wonderful coronation anthem Zadok the Priest which has been used since the Coronation of George II in 1727 - it was super to end the concert. The evening also included performances from smaller ensembles from both King’s and Hazlegrove, and made the evening a joyful celebration of music with a large and supportive audience. You could really sense the enjoyment all those involved had from the experience.
Well done and congratulations to all those involved.
