The senior boys enjoyed a busy and successful three days of pre-season...

Having trained hard on the Wednesday morning, two squads played against Dauntsey’s in the afternoon, with Finlay and Ronnie being named players of the match, following two excellent performances. The squad then travelled to Cardiff to play in the Cardiff Met Schools’ Invitational Tournament. In Game 1, King’s drew 2-2 with Kingswood, before dominating the match against Monkton Combe, but not making their chances count, and finally losing 3-1. Will was named player of the day as the team went to support the Cardiff Devils ice hockey team in the evening. Two very entertaining matches versus Bradfield College and Cardiff Met capped off an excellent three days, and the boys can look forward to an exciting season of hockey ahead.
