Amazing swimming at the Inter-House Swimming Competition...

What an fun and competitive event. The pupils were so loud cheering on pool side, I think my ears were ringing for the rest of the week! Every swimmer was supported by their House and the atmosphere was extremely positive. Some exceptional swimming and some really gutsy efforts all round. The individual places were shared by all Houses, but the results come from having a strong overall team. You didn’t have to be the stars of the pool, but have a reliable team around you. That is what made the final relay races the best to watch! This year we had a new race. Just like at the Olympics, we did the Mixed Relay, however, we mixed year groups. This made sure that each House had to be tactical in their choices of age group and disciplines. This led to the closest races of the day with nail biting finishes.

Last year we started the Swimming Records file. Some records were smashed from last year. It will be great each year to see what records are held and which are broken. (See below).
