A hotly contested Inter-House Golf Competition

On Thursday, we took 13 pupils to compete in this year’s Inter-House Golf at Wheathill Golf Club...

It was a beautiful afternoon for golf, and all pupils were excited to get out onto the course and represent their House. The competition was hotly contested over 9 holes, and ended up being an incredibly close competition at the top! The winning boys' House was Blackford, with 35 points, closely followed by New House with 34, and Lyon House with 15. The girls' competition was equally close, with Arion House taking the win with 25 points, Wellesley a close second with 23, and Priory with 8 points.

The Golf Program at King’s continues to go from strength to strength, and the quality of the pupils’ performances was testament to their commitment to, and enjoyment of, the game. My thanks go to Jill and Andrew at Wheathill Golf Club for their support, and to all the pupils involved in making this event such a success.
