This will be Lloyd’s second winter Olympics. Huge congratulations and we are looking forward to watching and supporting Lloyd at the Games.

“I’M GOING TO THE OLYMPICS! AGAIN!
Absolutely buzzing and relieved to be officially selected to represent Team GB at my second Olympic Games. I’m so proud to be able represent Great Britain, continue my family legacy and that I get the opportunity to join the Two Time Olympian Club. When you set yourself high goals you can’t expect to achieve them all. Qualifying for an Olympic Games is supposed to be tough, and it most certainly has been, especially given I only came back to the sport 18 months ago. Although I’m in the best form of my life, this season hasn’t quite gone to plan. At moments it has been touch-and-go, and I almost didn’t make the cut. Even closer than 4 years ago. It has been one hell of a journey to get here and a lot of hard work and sacrifice. Excitement with every high, and nerves with every low. The rollercoaster carried on until the very last minute, where I thought everything was lost, and my usual positivity was tested to the max. Stress levels were high and I’d like to thank everyone who kept their fingers crossed for me. There were wheels turning behind the scenes I’ll never know about, but I know I had goodwill behind me, for which I will be forever grateful. I know I’ve been fortunate, and I will not take it for granted.
The standard in Aerials is considerably higher than 4 years ago, so it will be a privilege to compete in what will be an epic contest and a spectacular show. There are only 25 places per sex at the Olympics. In the Men’s we’ll have 4 Belarusians, 4 Chinese, 3 Americans, 3 Canadians, 3 Russians, 3 Swiss, 3 Ukrainians, 1 Kazakh and me, 1 stubborn Brit.
I want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way family, friends, the Swiss, coaches, teammates, colleagues and sponsors. Without your support and encouragement I wouldn’t have this opportunity in front of me. I hope I can do you the justice you deserve. Importantly the journey isn’t over yet. Now it’s GO time, I’ll be giving it my all, there’s absolutely nothing to lose!
Beijing here I come, it’s going to be unforgettable”.
