A summary from the weekend’s tennis fixtures...

King's Bruton Senior Boys vs Bryanston

1st Team - Lost 8-1
2nd Team - Lost 4-0

A tough match with difficult conditions and hard-hitting opponents. Both teams of King's Bruton struggling to deal with Bryanston’s fast pace of serve and groundstrokes.

In the 2nd Team, Tom and Aled were creating some lovely depth to their groundstrokes, they had a close match against Bryanston’s 1st pair, losing a close battle 6-5.

King's Bruton Senior Girls vs Wells Cathedral

2nd Team - Won 5-4
3rd Team - Lost 6-3

Well done to the 2nd Team winning a close battle and eventually taking the match in rubbers 5-4. In the 1st Team, Olivia and Lulu showed great determination in their final match against the 1st pair oppositions. They fought hard, and after many deuces they eventually took the set 6-5.

King's Bruton Junior Girls vs Wells Cathedral

U15A - Lost 5-4
U15B - Lost 5-4
U14A - Lost 9-0
U14B - Won 4-0

Both U15 teams showed a fantastic display of serving, communication, and baseline consistency. Both teams coming up just short and losing the match 5-4 in rubbers. A very special well done to Lilah and Anouska, winning all three matches 6-4 and showing great court presence.

A standout team performance in the U14B team, winning every match comfortably and only dropping 5 games as a team the entire match. The all round consistency from the rackets of the King's Bruton players proving too much for their opponents on the day.
