This was the first time the Joint Concert has been held in the new Hauser and Wirth Recital Hall.

There were many excellent performances: the Hazlegrove Percussion Group was very impressive as was the King's Senior Jazz Quintet. However, my favourite two items were the Joint Orchestra and the Joint Military Band. I can still remember playing with my first senior orchestra. Being surrounded by a wonderful, unbelievable sound is magical, now as a conductor, I particularly value collaborative performances, different schools working together to try to produce something special is very rewarding.
