Diligence and enthusiasm shines through in 3rd Form History project...
I am thrilled that three historians from 3 South have been awarded a Headmaster’s Distinction!
3 South were tasked with individually and independently researching one aspect of the Great War of 1914-18. All the projects were of a very high calibre ranging on topics from the role of ethnic minorities in WWI through to the war at sea, the role of animals and the Eastern Front. 3 South were aware that the Headmaster would come to judge and select a winning project. In the end, it was excellent to see the Headmaster award three Headmaster’s Distinctions to Jamie, Abi, & Mae. My congratulations to them for going above and beyond to produce some academically rigorous and truly fascinating projects. My congratulations to eight other pupils who also received numerous commendations for producing some excellent projects. Indeed, Olivia’s project on the war at sea and her model of a submarine was marvellous! Well done to all the pupils for showing such enthusiasm and diligence!
