A successful prospective 3rd Form Scholarship Assessment Week...

We were delighted to welcome over 30 prospective pupils to King’s Bruton last week as part of our 3rd Form Scholarship Assessment Week. Pupils from Hazlegrove, Sherborne Prep, All Hallows, Port Regis, Perrott Hill and Whitgift had the opportunity to showcase their musical, design, artistic, theatrical, and sporting talents, and we were not disappointed. Year on year, the levels of skill, knowledge, enthusiasm and passion increase, and this year was no exception. The assessments were rigorous but carried out in an empathetic manner by our excellent staff, so that the applicants were encouraged to give of their best. The prior preparation of all applicants was plain to see, and I do hope that they all enjoyed their time with us and are looking forward to joining King’s in September. They are all to be greatly commended for their considered efforts and we are extremely grateful to the wonderful prep schools who prepared them so thoroughly.

Next month we will welcome ten applicants from Hazlegrove, Perrott Hill, Sherborne Prep, Whitgift, Bryanston Prep and Port Regis for the Academic Scholarship exams and wish them good luck in their preparation.
