Excellent A Level and BTEC results...

The A Level and BTEC examination results at King’s Bruton matched national trends with our results returning to pre-pandemic levels.

At A Level, 35% of grades were awarded A*/A, 59.2% were A*-B and 84% were A*-C. When combined with our outstanding BTEC results 44% of all grades were awarded A*/A. The Extended Project results were impressive with 88% awarded A*-A grades.

Headmaster, Ian Wilmshurst, commented, "I am delighted with these excellent A Level and BTEC results. Our U6^th Form pupils had not sat GCSE exams, due to the pandemic, and they have coped admirably this year with many outstanding individual performances. These results are very similar to our 2019 results and indicate that we can all now move on positively from the pandemic-affected years. I am very grateful to our teaching staff for their professionalism and dedicated support for the pupils."
