Old Brutonian Webinar for U6th Form - Thriving and Surviving at University

  • What happens after results day?
  • How does it feel arriving at university?
  • What is the best way to get to meet and get to know others?
  • How can I best prepare for my first year at university?

These and many other questions are often on the minds of Upper 6th Form pupils as they prepare to head of to university. Who better to help answer those questions than current 1st and 2nd year university students? Therefore, we were delighted to be able to host a live interview and discussion with Harriet (OB Priory) and Archie (OB Blackford) for the current U6th Form. Ably interviewed by current Head Girl, Katie, Archie and Harriet were able to impart their nuggets of wisdom and help to settle nerves as they gave frank and honest accounts of their experiences, as well as how best to approach tings in their first year.

From finances to food, friendships and studying, the discussion covered a wide range of areas, and the opportunity for Q&As at the end allowed for individual queries to be answered. Not only was the live interview enjoyed by those watching, there have been many views on the recording since from those unable to make it, showing just how valuable the reports of personal experiences are.

Thank you to Harriet and Archie for giving their time to support current Brutonians so well.
