Pepa and Dimitri Took Part in the Future Chefs Competition

On Wednesday 8th January, two King's pupils went to compete in the Future Chef Competition at Bridgewater College in Taunton.

Pepa and Dimitri cooked in the state of the art commercial kitchen at the college, whilst being watched by four chefs, no easy task! Both pupils were undaunted by the surroundings and cooked fantastic dishes.

Pepa's creation was:

Main Course
Homemade Pasta Carbonara
Pudding
Almond Cake and Meringue Topping with a Fruit Coulis

Dimitri's creation was:

Main Course
Monkfish Provençal on a bed of Wholegrain Rice
Pudding
Apple Crumble

They should be extremely proud of themselves especially as they had very little preparation time due to the competition being the first day back. Well done to both.
