The 4th Form CCF cadets went to the Jurassic Coast for an exciting day of Adventure Training as part of their commitment to being a CCF Cadet...
Jim Oakley Adventures ran two excellent activities for the cadets, Coasteering and Hi/Lo Ropes. The ‘wet’ adventure saw them undertake coasteering off Dancing Ledge. This was an action-packed experience which was loved by all, and the perfect weather conditions enhanced the fun being had in the sea and on the cliffs. The ‘dry’ adventure saw the cadets undertake hi/lo ropes and leadership tasks at Burnbake Camp, near Corfe Castle. A head for heights was required as was the ability to work together as a team to get around the lo ropes challenges.
A great day out for all superbly ran by Jim Oakley Adventures, and made so memorable by the adventurous and daring spirit of the young cadets.
