New House are victorious in the Inter-House Chess Tournament...
After last year’s strict Covid restrictions, it was great to play this year’s Tournament in more normal circumstances. Games were played face-to-face with masks in December, before we had to have a pause in January when the surge of absences due to Covid made play more difficult to organise. Nevertheless, we finally played the last two rounds on Friday 4th March and I am delighted to announce the results:
The New House win was partially due to the excellent results of Robert, Tyler and Kit, but they were also buoyed up by the sheer weight of numbers; Carl, Jared, Tom, Oliver and Ludo all took part in the Tournament. It was a great team effort and a result for all the boys to be proud of.
Must be made of all the others who played for their Houses:
