An Incredibly Tight & Tense Inter-House Badminton Competition

Sport House Activities and Competitions

On the first Sunday of the academic year the Inter-House Badminton took place in the Fitzjames Sports Hall, with all those participating receiving excellent support both court side and from the viewing gallery above.

The Junior Boys Competition was incredibly tight and tense with the all four houses tied, Blackford grabbed victory on points difference. The Seniors Boys Competition was won by a very strong Old House team, despite Blackford pushing them all the way. The Junior Girls Competition was also a very close and hard fought competition with the majority of matches being decided by the narrowest of margins with Arion triumphing. The Senior Girls Competetion was dominated by an excellent Priory team, winning all of their matches.

The overall level of play was extremely impressive, well done to everyone who participated.
