The U6th Form Business Studies and Economics pupils alongside fellow pupils from BTEC Hospitality, enjoyed an excellent and highly-valuable visit to Fuller’s Brewery in Chiswick and Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club on Tuesday 14th November.

At Fuller's Brewery, the pupils had a tour of the production process and learnt about the science behind making their extensive range of beers. This scales of economy alongside business models employed were fascinating to learn about. The BTEC Hospitality pupils found it incredibly valuable to gain a deeper insight into this valuable production process. At Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club,  the pupils enjoyed a lecture on the ‘Business of Tennis’ and learnt specifically about the Wimbledon brand, the debenture system and sponsorship. We then had a tour of the press rooms, the BBC/Sky studios and, of course, the world famous centre court. All in all an excellent trip of immense value to the curriculum!
