The first Lyon House Charity Hockey Festival has been a real triumph!

Lyon House has so far raised over £2600 for Children with Cancer UK following a really successful first Mixed Hockey Festival held on the King’s astro-turf pitches on Sunday 25^th September. Over twenty teams from both the School and the local community took part with over fifty games squeezed into five hours of outstanding hockey. On a beautiful autumnal Sunday, it was simply wonderful to have so many members of the School community in attendance and to see the generosity shown both on the day and on our website www.justgiving.com/lyonhouse. I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who played, supported, donated or came up on the day to lend a hand. The boys of Lyon House are thrilled to have raised such a figure and simply can’t wait for next year to do it all over again! An album of the action from the day can be seen below.
