On Friday evening we had a Piano and String Concert in the Memorial Hall. All the performers did brilliantly well, with particular highlights including the Piano Trio who opened the concert with a Scherzo by Mendelssohn and Leighton’s moving Elegy played on cello by Lucy Little. There were many other high quality performances too many to mention here as the programme was over an hour long! Well done to all the performers; a selection of performances are available to listen again through Sound Cloud.
