The Opening of the Sir Peter Squire Pavilion...

I was delighted to welcome Lady Carolyn Squire, her family, friends and donors to the opening of The Sir Peter Squire Pavilion earlier today.

The refurbished pavilion and adjoining changing rooms finally mean that we have facilities that match the high quality of our sports pitches. However, on a personal level, the opening was a way for me to join the Squire family to remember Peter. Peter was the Senior Warden when I started as King’s Headmaster in 2009. Peter provided me and my family with invaluable support, and I valued his insight and wisdom.

The Pavilion and adjoining changing rooms are a fitting tribute to Sir Peter, who was a fine sportsman and a great supporter of King's Bruton in so many ways.
