King's Bruton has become part of The Queen's Green Canopy...

The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 which invites people from across the United Kingdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.

As part of The Queen’s Green Canopy, for the Platinum Jubilee celebration in 2022, King’s Bruton have planted 30 tree saplings in the area in front of Tyndalls’ Astro. Our two Heads of School, Emily and Kit, as well as the two youngest pupils in the school, Florence and Robert, planted the final tree to mark this special occasion. Whilst the saplings are still only very small, it is exciting to think that on Thursday, the School planted some trees which will be here for future generations of King’s pupils to enjoy.
