King’s is so pleased to have helped Church Bridge Stores gain the prestigious High Sheriff’s Special Recognition Award for their Covid-19 response.

King’s Bruton was able to offer their fleet of minibuses to transport hundreds of deliveries to the elderly in Bruton and the surrounding villages within days of the lockdown in March 2020. King’s staff volunteered to drive food and newspapers to the doors of those who could not leave their homes. This went on daily for a month before the shop was able to buy a van from a local garage. King’s continued to deliver food to Sexey’s Hospital throughout the summer term 2020.

We were so pleased to be able to help local people at this difficult time.
