Modern Foreign Languages Educational Trips

On Monday, all pupils studying German from 3rd to 5th Form travelled to Warminster School to watch a German play entitled 'Das Schlimmste Hotel' (The Worst Hotel) put on by Onatti Production Ltd.

The play is aimed at learners of German, and can be easily followed even by those with little or no target language. The plot sees a failing hotel embroiled in a criminal conundrum, when the owners believe they have a criminal staying on site. All pupils found it very entertaining and engaging, and felt a sense of satisfaction that they could follow much of the script.

"I found it funny and the language was useful and recognisable." - Rachel, 4th Form Priory

"I found it engaging and easy to follow." - Harry, 3rd Form Lyon

"I found it easy to follow, and made me therefore realise just how much German I actually know." - Gabriel, 5th Form Old

Many thanks to Madame Webb for organising the trip and driving the minibus.
