Business Studies and Economics

The L6th Business Studies & Economics pupils had a superb time visiting the Bank of England and Twickenham Rugby Stadium this week.

At the Bank of England the pupils had the opportunity to visit the museum where they attempted to lift a gold bar valued at nearly £500,000 along with having a presentation on the role of the bank plays as the ‘lender of last resort’. At Twickenham the pupils were split into teams and had a workshop on the ‘Business of Rugby’. After this they were lucky enough to go on a tour around the stadium including the executive boxes, changing rooms and the museum. The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all and has proven to be a great experience for enriching the curriculum.
