An afternoon of fun and teambuilding for the new 3rd Form...

What better way to get to know our new 3rd Form than to take them to Mill on the Brue! With their first week at King’s under their belts we took almost every 3rd Form Pupil to pit their wits against each other, and in some cases the staff, in a series of teambuilding activities that saw them hurling themselves off 12ft high poles with (mostly) fearless determination to strike a hanging ball, supported on their harness and ropes only by their new fellow pupils. Although it wasn’t always intentional, we saw lots of soggy shoes as they attempted to cross the River Brue, suspended by self-built structures, which saw more than one pupil dangling from ropes, frantically trying to avoid dipping their toes in the river. It was wonderful seeing new friendships develop and old ones strengthen in preparation for their time together at King’s.

Well done 3rd Form, it’s a pleasure to welcome you.
