4th Form pupils are walking/running/cycling & swimming 2300km to raise money for Oddballs...
Following on from a Men's Health talk given last month at King's, 4th Form pupils, Freddie, Tommy and Samuel have decided to walk, run, cycle and swim 2300 kilometres in aid of Oddballs to raise awareness of the affects of testicular cancer in young men. 2300 is the number of people diagnosed with testicular cancer in the UK each year.
Samuel says:
We are 3 boys running, walking, swimming and cycling 2300 km for Oddballs Foundation. I am sure many of you have heard of Oddballs but if not, Oddballs is an organisation who raises awareness of the effects and dangers of testicular cancer in young men.
Testicular Cancer is the most common cancer to affect men between the ages of 15-49, with 2300 men being diagnosed in the UK each year. However, if detected early, Testicular Cancer is one of the most curable cancers. Help us raise awareness of Testicular Cancer to break down the stigma associated with the disease and encourage more men to check themselves..
