The L6th Form BTEC Hospitality pupils have just returned from an incredible whistle stop trip to London.

The trip involved the pupils immersing themselves in a variety of different types of hospitality and thus furthering their understanding of this sector of our service industry. A particular highlight included sailing down the River Thames experiencing a dinner cruise listening to tunes from the West End! Alongside this, we had an amazing visit to the Dorchester Hotel. At the Dorchester we enjoyed a two and a half hour ‘access all areas’ educational tour. It was amazing to see how the world-famous institution functions. Our time at the Dorchester was capped off with Afternoon Tea in the their Promenade - simply amazing!

These trips are incredibly valuable to our Hospitality pupils; in 24 hours the pupils experienced so much to enhance their learning, across many of their BTEC Hospitality Units. An album of the highlights from the trip can be viewed below.
