Excellent progress for the KSBMotorSport team at Dunsfold Park...

The team worked tremendously hard making modifications to the body work to improve aerodynamics, reworking the heat sink and focussing on battery management. We also had a Teams meet with Trevor Cook, the Southwest Region’s Greenpower Ambassador, who shared some useful knowledge with us, and on which the KSBMotorSport Team acted. Some of the new team members from school, helped during the week which was great to see.

As for the race, we were painfully close to winning and getting a trophy. We were running first in class for the last few laps, and were two laps ahead with ten minutes to go. We maintained this clear lead as we entered the last lap, but suffered a devastating tyre blow out. We eventually secured a fourth-place position through Luke pushing Bertie along the pit lane to record a finish.

It was by far our best performance yet. Excellent progress made and brilliant resilience shown. We will continue to make improvements and our goal is to continue our upward curve and get a podium finish at the Final on 8^th October at Goodwood.
