An enjoyable trip out to Glastonbury.

On Sunday 25th April, our Deputy Head, Mrs Grant, took the L6th Form Priory girls on a trip to Glastonbury Tor, a local landmark that surprisingly, many Priory girls hadn’t visited before.

Not only did we educate Mrs Grant on some fantastic music to include ‘Levitating’ by Dua Lipa on the journey there, we experienced some genuine ‘Hippie Culture’ with many people climbing the Tor without shoes and socks but laden with guitars. Although windy, the sun didn’t fail to shine, and we stopped for some ice cream and drinks before attempting the climb. It appeared to be a struggle after the extreme lack of exercise many of us faced during lockdown. Once at the top the views over the Somerset Levels were spectacular and well worth the effort!

Thank you Mrs Grant.
