We are delighted to introduce our lovely new Receptionist, Julia Waterton.
In her own words...
Having lived in the area for nearly 30 years, I am well aware of the high reputation that King’s enjoys, as well as knowing some staff members who sing its praises. It is lovely to be working here particularly as I have had such a warm welcome.
I was brought up in the Far East and New Zealand, but educated in England from the age of 11, eventually settling in the Cotswolds where I married, and moving to the Shaftesbury area with my husband where our two children were raised. Once they ‘fled the nest’ I returned to full-time work initially at Milton Abbey School for a few years and then St Mary’s, Shaftesbury for the next 9 years in the same role as I have at King’s Bruton.
I have SCUBA dived (a course given to me by my husband for my 40th birthday), skydived, bungy jumped, been paragliding and microlighting, but now enjoy walking with, and without, our dogs and my latest interest, Nordic walking.
