You don't have to eat just meat to meet your protein needs. In fact, plant sources can be a healthier option.
Last week in the Dining Hall, the catering team prepared and served salads for pupils which highlighted good sources of protein from plant based foods and included ingredients like broccoli, chick peas, soya beans, pulses and lentils. They also included a poster showing how much protein we need to eat daily and how much protein is in each ingredient per 100gm.
