The KSBMotorSport Team competed at Dunsfold Park in the penultimate race of the season...

At Dunsfold Park, the home of Top Gear, we secured an impressive 6^th place finish, and 3 Championship points, in a very competitive field of sixteen cars. For much of the race we were in a tense battle with two other teams, spending a good proportion of the race in 3^rd place. Hannah drove with steely determination and her skills were appreciated by a number of spectators as well as the team. 

Before the race, our practice laps were steady, and we achieved a nice pace and line, but we were a few seconds behind the top car. Because of this we decided to take a risk and change our gearing to see how this would impact our performance. Dylan worked with focus and determination to achieve this adjustment in the limited time we had. 

In the race, we started strongly, but the change of gearing was to be our downfall. Towards the final few laps, the batteries started to lose power. This had a significant impact on us at the end of the race, but Hannah brought the car home, just missing out on 5^th place as we were overtaken in our last lap. We have learnt a lot, and we head to the International Final at Goodwood with confidence in the car and a few improvements to make before we get there on October 13^th. The team can be very proud of their accomplishments.
