Priory House put on a truly magical Cinderella...
Tuesday and Wednesday evening saw Priory’s long-awaited Cinderella come into fruition, after a dedicated 6 months of hard work. Jenna and Ellie took the lead on directing and producing the play, and they certainly did not fail to deliver. Every member of the House was involved, from hospitality, to lighting and sound, and of course the main cast who each brought their characters to life. Our two ‘ugly stepsisters’, Beryl and Cheryl (honourably played by Reina and Eliza) looked perfectly outrageous in their matching pastel ball gowns and over the top eyebrows, while The Prince (Ellie) offered exceptional comic relief and had the whole crowd laughing throughout. Our very own racehorse, Wilmsy, was played marvellously by Georgia, while Jenna (Head Girl) starred as Cinderella. Both night’s performances were unforgettable, and each audience left delighted. An incredible amount of determination, time and hard work was put in by all, however it was all worth it in the end. The House came together as a unit and worked so tightly, creating new friendships, strengthening existing ones, and producing something truly magical. The whole House should be so proud of what they were able to achieve.
