Nick Bunday will be standing down as Housemaster of Blackford House at the end of this academic year. I am delighted to inform you that Will Stainton has been appointed the new Housemaster of Blackford from September 2024. Will has a wealth of pastoral experience, having been an outstanding Resident Tutor in Old House and House Tutor in Lyon House. Will is getting married to Kate Flavell, Head of Biology, in the New Year, and I am sure that you will want to join me in wishing Will and Kate the very best for their new life in Blackford.

I am hugely grateful for the opportunity to be the next Housemaster of Blackford House at King's Bruton. Being in the centre of the School and looking over to the Memorial Hall, it is in a wonderful place on the campus. Having taught a number of the Blackford boys, coached them in various sports teams, or enjoyed their performances on the stage, I am very much looking forward to working with them all, to continue their successes and the legacy of Blackford House.
