It was fantastic to welcome back the Sexual Health Circus, who performed to our 3^rd Form pupils.

The purpose was to educate our pupils in a fun and engaging way about relationships and sex education. Ollie, from the 3^rd Form, said: ‘It was much better than I was expecting. It was really fun and enjoyable’.

A team of talented circus performers, compare the trust, openness and respect they have for each other in their performance on stage, to healthy sexual relationships. They do this in a straight-talking, no-nonsense manner, integrating juggling, unicycles, ballet and acrobats with sex and relationships education. The result is spellbinding.

The second half was a Q and A session, where pupils can ask any question, for an expert Sex and Relationship educator to answer. The performers added their thoughts to give further depth and explanation.

Ellie, from the 3^rd Form, thought that it was good to have an outside group "as you felt more confident and less embarrassed asking questions."
