Priory House and New House enjoyed some Scottish Country Dancing

Boarding Life at King's

Priory House girls and New House boys joined together for our first twinning event.

The Juniors had great fun doing an Easter egg hunt, whilst the Seniors were treated to a night of Scottish dancing. We were very lucky to have Matt and Flora Rawlingson-Plant, who are current King's Bruton parents and own the Mill on the Brue, teach the 40 boys and girls how to reel. Most of the pupils had never danced before and learnt that it was fine to make mistakes, and it was so good to witness everyone getting involved. The pupils managed to master 2 dances  - the Dashing White Sergeant and the Eightsome . They had so much fun and are now keen to do it again!
