Like many events, the Introduction to the Sixth Form Evening at King’s this year switched to the virtual environment.
However, the School took an innovative approach to ensuring that as much as possible of the normal experience was recreated. Pupils and parents were able to login to the custom event webpage where they could watch a welcome and introduction video from the Deputy Head (Sixth Form), Will Daws, and the Deputy Head (Academic), Dan Cupit.
The virtual event included short video introductions to each of the 25 subjects on offer in the Sixth Form, links to further material and live video discussions with subject representatives, helping to ensure pupils are expertly informed as they make their Sixth Form decisions.
For those who missed the event, the webpage remains accessible within the Sixth Form area of the King’s website. Or by clicking below. Whilst the live meetings may have ended, contact details for each of the departments are available and pupils, parents and visitors are welcome to get in touch with their questions and gain further guidance from subject teachers and the Deputy Heads.
