6th Form Language Pupils Enjoyed an Evening of Poetry
This is one of my favourite MFL events as the Head of Department, as it shows an impressive array of talents combined with a wide and varied choice of subjects! The 6th Form pupils read out beautiful poems in their target language. The themes were varied: war, humour, the seasons, love, death to mention but a few.
It is not an easy task to read in public and after a reticent start the linguists quickly found confidence in their reading.
Thank you to all the 6th Form pupils who contributed to this exciting evening. I hope a few get the poetry bug.
