Junior Play Lord Of The Flies A Real Hit!

Share
Drama and Theatre Life at King's

The cast of the Junior Play worked exceptionally hard, particularly in the final stages of rehearsals, to produce two excellent performances of Lord of the Flies.

Lord of the Flies was challenging both intellectually and physically, but the cast rose to the challenge and captivated the audience on both nights. There was nowhere to hide on stage, and the cast members gave everything they could to their characters and the performance. I would like to mention Finlay, Jack and Hannah for their excellent commitment to the characters and the production. Finlay took one of the lead roles and led by example throughout, committing his time and energy to every rehearsal and consequently the performances - well done.

I would also like to thank the entire cast for their hard work and willingness to step out of their comfort zones, Harry and Huw for their tireless effort and hard work as part of the production team, Maggie King for her endless support throughout, and finally to the audience members that supported the performances. The next event on the stage at the Fitzjames Theatre is the Whole School Production on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th December. A video of the junior play and an album of photos can be seen below.
