On Thursday and Friday evening this week the juniors of the 3rd and 4th forms staged 100, a delightful and demanding one act play which poses the question: If you could choose just one memory to take with you into heaven, which would it be?
The play shows the recently dead characters as they are forced to make their decisions under time pressure. The cast had to master multi-rolling, frequent scene changes and physical theatre to keep the pace of the drama moving swiftly. Cosmo played his role of the guide with swagger and assurance; Yazzi showed moments of genuine empathy with her character, Sophie’s, predicament; Henry and Katie were convincing as the young lovers; Bertie found the comedy in his office worker and the frustration of Ketu, whilst Huw, Tristo and Rosie provided a strong and able ensemble, so essential to the success of the performances.
Production support provided by Ben, George, Ellie and Liv resulted in the smooth running of both performances. Well done to everyone involved, not least the director, Mr Stainton.
