Wellesley House and Old House staged the first King’s concert that you could watch without actually coming to School. It was watched in 33 different homes around the world because it was streamed live via our website. While there can never be a substitute for experiencing music at King’s in the Memorial Hall or John Davie Room, tuning into a live feed – there will be many of these in future – is the next best thing for those unable to get to School. Both Houses performed their Ensemble and House Song pieces from the recent Inter-House Music Competition (won by Wellesley House) along with a few solos and duets. Everyone performed brilliantly and, furthermore, thoroughly enjoyed their performances, as did the audience (both at School and in all those other homes). Well done.
