King's Bruton showcased The Queen Elizabeth Music School to Prep Schools' Heads of Music...

On Thursday 14^th September, King’s Bruton welcomed six prep school Heads of Music. It was a fantastic opportunity to talk about The Queen Elizabeth Music School and what we can offer prospective Music Scholars and Award holders. Several of the attendees are relatively new to their position and it was good to be able to meet new colleagues. 

The morning included a Recital given by current award holders at King’s in the 5^th and 6^th Form - they performed brilliantly well, particularly considering that it is only Week 2 of the new academic year. 

We were also fortunate to be joined via Teams by Old Brutonian, Lauren Glover, who spoke fondly of being a Music Scholar at King’s in the 6^th Form and how all the opportunities she had prepared her for undergraduate study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
